Perspective Reflection Screenshots
- Before anything else, make sure you have an Adobe Photoshop installed.
Any version may do. - Open (Ctrl+O) the image or screenshot of your choice. For the sake of this tutorial, I chose this image. Image © Projecttres.org
- Ctrl+N and choose a white background with a 600 pixel as your width and height. (If your image is a lot more bigger than the said resolution, then customized the size – just make sure there’s an allowance in all sides especially at the bottom.)
- If you’re happy with the position, Ctrl + J. You now have a copy of your first layer.
- In the layers pane, choose layer 2 (which is the copy of the first layer).
- Ctrl + T then right click, choose Flip Vertical. You now have something like this:
- In the layer 2, choose Add Layer Mask. Your layer box will now look like this.
- In the toolbox, choose the Gradient option.
- Choose this type of gradient:
- Apply it to layer 2 and you’ll get this kind of result.
- Add more effects depending to your liking – for instance, applying the Skew effect. Just Ctrl+T, right click and choose Skew. Move the endpoints in whatever direction you like. Mine is like this.
